As endodontists, our goal is to improve outcomes and ultimately save the tooth. This lecture will focus on managing endodontic cases with poor prognosis. For different reasons, such as a previously failed implant, some patients are willing to invest more time and money to try to keep their natural tooth, even though they have been told to extract it. During the lecture, I will present cases that will hopefully inspire others to see things from the patients’ perspective and be willing to take risks even though there is a poor prognosis for success.
"As endodontists, it's essential to remember that every tooth represents a patient's hope. By embracing the challenge, we often find unexpected successes."
— Dr. Angela Noguera
